"The secret of good teaching is to regard the child's intelligence as a fertile field in which seeds may be sown, to grow under the heat of flaming imagination."

— Maria Montessori

This quote is why I decided to become a Montessori teacher. I began my journey over 25 years ago, working in the Boulder, Broomfield and Denver areas. I have had the opportunity to work for both primary and infant/toddler lead positions. I am certified in both AMS (American Montessori Society) and AMI (Association Montessori International).

I also owned and directed a personal music studio for over seven years, teaching children between the ages of 6 months to 10 years.

My husband Tim and I make our home in Broomfield. Our daughter Lauren and our new son-in-law Joe are attorney's in Minneapolis, MN. I continue my journey as a Montessori teacher in memory of my son Galen, who was born with a very rare disease. Applying the techniques of Maria Montessori to his care afforded him a quality of life and inspired me to become a Montessori teacher.

I look forward to continuing my journey with your children and family.
