I was born and raised in Colombia, South America, and Spanish is my native language. I have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, but I have since realized that education is my true calling.  I have been working with children for around 20 years, and every day, I am more amazed at the uniqueness I see in each of them. I love watching children learn from their own experiences and interests, and I love how confident they are when you believe in them. Some years back, I discovered the work of Maria Montessori, and I started learning more about it until I decided to enroll at MTEI to become an EC Montessori Teacher, and I am so glad I did. I like to share my love for my family, country, and language with everybody around me. I love serving others. I love cooking, photography, and reading a good book.
